Job Title: Renewable Fuels Development Advisor

BASIC FUNCTION:

Develop and implement renewable fuels strategy to support Total's U.S. downstream operations.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Enhance Total's position as a responsible corporate citizen that is committed to sustainable development.
• Determine the most cost effective way to meet Total's mandated renewable fuels obligations and ensure compliance with evolving federal and local renewable fuel mandates and regulations.
• Oversee management of sulfur and bio-credits, and compliance tracking and reporting.
• Go beyond compliance to identify new business opportunities generated by the new regulations including negotiating joint ventures and other agreements with third parties.
• Work closely with Total's Bio-Fuels division in Paris, France.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Technical degree, preferably in engineering.
• 10+ years industrial and business experience.
• Working knowledge of renewable fuels regulations and a good understanding of refining processes, streams and economics.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to prioritize.
• Geographically mobile; French a plus.
